Synthesis, Structures, and Luminescent Properties of Three Alkaline Earth Metal‐based MOFs Assembled from 3‐(3‐Carboxyphenoxy) Phthalic Acid Ligand

Abstract: Three two-dimensional (2D) coordination complexes, namely [Ca 2 (HL) 2 (H 2 O) 5 ] n ·2nH 2 O (1), [Sr(HL)(H 2 O) 3 ] n ·nH 2 O (2), and [Ba(HL)(H 2 O) 3 ] n ·nH 2 O (3) [H 3 L = 3-(3-carboxy-phenoxy) phthalic acid], were synthesized by using the ligand H 3 L and alkaline earth metals. Structural analysis reveals that the structures of complexes 1-3 can be described as 2D networks with the point (Schälfli)
