Synthesis, Structures and Magnetic Properties of Hydrogen-bond Directed 2D Heterobimetallic Cyanide-bridged Coordination Polymers

Abstract: = N,N-ethylene-bis(5-methxysalicylideneiminate)] have been obtained from [Pd(CN) 4 ] 2and the corresponding Schiff-base manganese(III) compounds. X-ray diffraction reveals that the complexes are constructed into twodimensional supramolecular networks through intermolecular O-H…O and O-H…N hydrogen bond interactions. The magnetic susceptibilities of the two complexes reveal overall weak antiferromagnetic interactions between the adjacent Mn(III) ions.
