Abstract:N‐Arylenaminones are highly versatile compounds which can be synthesized in relatively simple ways. In this work we explored the synthesis of the four monosubstituted N‐(4‐R‐phenyl)enaminones 3a (R = NO2), 3b (R = F), 3c (R = H), and 3d (R = OMe) with the goal of determining the influence of the substituents' electronic effects on tautomer stability and biological activity. These compounds were analyzed by means of Density Functional Theory calculations (DFT), to evaluate the relative stability of the possible… Show more
Skeletal editing is a highly efficient strategy for modifying the core scaffolds of drug molecules, with multi-atomic editing as an emergent approach. Herein, we present a protocol for constructing N-substituted...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
