Abstract:In this study, we efficiently synthesized a new Schiff base ligand (H2L) along with its mononuclear complex Cu(II) (1). The chemical structures of these compounds were rigorously determined using various analytical techniques, including UV‐ Vis., FT‐IR, 1H NMR, 13 C NMR CHN elemental analysis, single crystal X‐ray diffraction, and quantum calculations. The X‐ray diffraction analysis of the complex revealed the presence of intermolecular interactions characterized by C−H…Br hydrogen bonds, leading to the format… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
