The article considers the development of the approach to complex adaptive management of the potential for innovative development (PID) of the industrial enterprise in the conditions of the formation and development of the digital economy. The impact of information computer technologies of the fourth industrial revolution on each component subsystems (including their elements) of the PID of the industrial enterprise from the standpoint of ensuring its sustainable innovative growth are determined and systematized by the nature of action (favorable or unfavorable). Approaches to purposeful management of PID component subsystems of the industrial enterprise have been developed in order to update their condition in relation to external conditions and ensure favorable internal prerequisites for innovative development in the digital economy. Their application makes it possible to reasonably align the internal possibilities of innovative development of the industrial enterprise (its PID) with the external ones in the conditions of the digital economy. The enlarged scheme has been developed that reflects the sequence and content of the formalized procedures for managing the PID of the industrial enterprise in the context of its transition to the path of innovative development in the conditions of the digital economy. It can be used as a methodological basis for the implementation of the developed approaches in the practice of innovative activity of industrial enterprises. The presented developments collectively form the approach to complex adaptive management according to formalized PID procedures of the industrial enterprise, including its component subsystems-potentials and their elements, in the context of ensuring the compliance of internal and external conditions of innovative growth of the enterprise in the digital economy. The developed approach, in contrast to the existing ones, provides the adaptive management of all components (as well as their elements) of PID in a complex, which increases the degree of coherence and validity of the management of innovative development at industrial enterprises in the digital economy.

In recent years, the utilization of digital technologies and the promotion of a country's digital development have emerged not only as a strategic necessity but also as a key determinant of its competitiveness on the international stage. The article extensively scrutinized the Digital Competitiveness Index, assessing Ukraine's position within the overall index. Additionally, it evaluated the significance of its components, such as knowledge, technology, and future readiness. The subfactors were also analyzed, allowing the identification of strengths and weaknesses in Ukraine's digitization process. Furthermore, the Digital Economy and Society Index and the Ease of Doing Digital Business Index were examined, both of which do not evaluate Ukraine's developmental level according to the specified indicators. Additionally, the ICT Development Index, which has not been evaluated since 2018, was explored. The obtained results could be utilized in constructing a business process transformation strategy, identifying priority areas, opportunities, and obstacles for the integration of digital technologies into enterprise operations.
The article reflects both trends and prospects for the development of the digital economy, as well as the issue of digital transformation of the economy during the period of martial law. In the article, we found an imprint of the issue of the formation of the digital economy in the conditions of globalization, the peculiarities of the digital transformation of industry, the problems of the development of regional and branch economies. Today, in some countries there is more, and in others less effective digital transformation in the direction of the introduction and use of modern digital technologies in the field of material and non-material production. Its purpose is to increase the productivity and competitiveness of enterprises, as well as national economies as a whole. Ukraine has all the necessary prerequisites for the realization of the digital potential. For this, it is necessary, first of all, to decide on a technological focus and concentrate investment opportunities on the set goals, to develop a culture of innovation in every possible way, following the example of leading companies in the country. Transformations in the field of education and personnel training will be an equally important task that requires a timely solution. Obviously, digitalization of production will lead to the emergence of new professions and the disappearance of certain existing professions. The digital economy is interpreted as the result of the transformational effects of new technologies of general purpose in the field of communication and information, which are used by all sectors of the economy and social activity. Attention to the digital economy is due to the fact that information technologies are gaining more and more importance in the economic development of the countries of the world. The use of the digital technologies for the sale of goods and services, the provision of public services, and the education of citizens will allow society to acquire the so-called digital dividends, which means the growth of national well-being and obtaining material profit. Accordingly, the article considers the digital economy as an economic activity, where the key factor is data in the digital form, the processing of their large volumes and the use of results by traditional forms of business and, due to this, the improvement of various types of production, technologies, equipment, storage, sale, delivery of goods and services.
