System identification by Crazy-cat swarm optimization

Abstract: Adaptive filtering and system identification by traditional derivative based algorithms create stability issues when used in infinite impulse response (IIR) systems. In this paper, the identification of IIR system is used as an optimization task . A modification is approached to cat swarm optimization by introducing the concept of craziness to produce Crazy cat swarm optimization(Crazy-CSO) algorithm. The new modified version of the algorithm has been utilized to find a better solution. The efficiency of the m… Show more

“…In popular discourses, the moral panic around non-normative sexual identities, that is, homophobia, is widely circulated. This was further validated by my encounter with a homophobic article (Sarangi, 2015) published in a mainstream Odia daily that used the rhetoric of “bestiality,” “anti-Indian culture” and “import from the West” to discuss homosexuality in a derogatory fashion. Furthermore, in Odisha, experiences of queer people are conflated with the experiences of transwomen because they are the only publicly visible category of non-normative sexual subjectivity.…”

“…Adaptive system identification had a long history of many types of research ranged from the implementation of neural networks [5][6][7][8][9] to swarm optimization algorithms [10][11][12], reaching to the applications of LMS adaptation algorithm on IIR and FIR adaptive filters proposed by [13,14] with different techniques and applications [15][16][17][18][19]. Applications of Genetic Algorithm (GA) in system identification are studied in [20,21].…”
