Systematic Approach to Aortic Valvuloplasty in Children and Young Adults

Abstract: Valve repair in children and young adults is an attractive alternative to replacement or Ross procedure. In the past, the various valvuloplasty techniques have addressed isolated valve pathology. Recently, however, a holistic approach involving repair of all aortic root structures has evolved and promised to be an excellent alternative to valve replacement.
