Andy Fiske‐Jackson

Abstract: Background: Lameness examination is commonly required in equine veterinary practice, whether it's to investigate a lameness already identified by the owner, or as part of the investigation of poor performance.Aim of the article: This article outlines a systematic approach to adopt when presented with a lame horse. Although it focuses on examination of the distal limb, the same principles apply when examining the proximal limb.
