Abstract:The index of T-wave morphology restitution (TMR) has recently been presented as a sudden cardiac death (SCD) predictor in a population of chronic heart failure (CHF) patients. This index quantifies the level of variation in the T-wave morphology per RR interval (RRI) increment. The impact of using different definitions of ranges of RRI (∆RRI) and the study of the interaction between TMR and ∆RRI are relevant for both the optimization and the mechanistic interpretation of the index. This study aims to investiga… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
