Tactile Senses Control by Contacting a Human Finger with Micro Resist Pattern Arrangements

Abstract: A functional micro resists structures with tactile characters of the human are developed due to sweat, sebum and water influence. A new method of tactile sensory evaluation with the pentagon-shaped graph is employed. It is found that the micro pattern acts to wet and to feel smooth and comfortable by immersing some kinds of liquids. By the surface energy analysis, the tactile sensory evaluation can be explained at the point of wetting nature.

“…Various research results have been reported towards the development of a regression system for tactile perception. The information to use for regression can be broadly classified into the following two approaches: a model that uses information that can be measured with existing equipment, such as material constants [1] and surface shape [2], [3], and systems that use vibrations obtained from sliding on the target surface using tactile sensors [4], [5], [6], [7]. Regression methods can be broadly classified into those using linear regression [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [8] or This work was carried out with funding support from the JST-CREST research funding program [grant numbers JPMJCR1531 and JPMJCR20C2] Y. “…Among the variety products, touch panel is one of a key component for advanced color thin film transistor flat panel display (TFTFPD), which types can be divided into resistive, capacitive, infrared ray, optics, and surface acoustic wave [5]. In respond to the trend of convenience, one glass solution (OGS) is a kind of outstanding method to overcome the problems of panel thickness and response sensitivity.…”
