“…Post‐modification is another important strategy to tailor the properties of COFs materials. [ 98,99 ] Among various post‐modification methods, implanting active guest species (small molecules or polymers) into the porous hosts has been demonstrated as an efficient tactic to enhance the electrical conductivity. For example, tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) is featured with π‐electron‐donating abilities and exhibits excellent performance in the field of organic conducting materials.…”

“…The rich chemistry and the high reactivity of the amine groups make TGCl an ideal ionic monomer for the synthesis of IPOFs. The structure of IPOF-Cl was studied by infrared (IR), solid-state 13 C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD). The strong bands at 1617 cm −1 and 1292 cm −1 displayed in the IR spectrum can be assigned to CvC and C-N stretching, respectively ( Fig.…”

“…[8][9][10][11][12] In addition, the rich organic groups in POFs enable facile modification on the surface, offering an opportunity for the functionalization of POFs. 13 In this context, the synthetic diversity and the principles of reticular chemistry allow the construction of novel POFs with predesigned structures and tailored properties for various applications. [14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21] Recently, a few examples of POFs consisting of ionic frameworks and counter-ions have been reported.…”

“…Particularly, guest adsorption and/or activation sites of covalent-organic frameworks (COFs) have been introduced by this strategy. 50,51 Post-synthetic modification of the PIC K 2 [Cr 3 O(OOCH) 6 -(etpy) 3 ] 2 [α-SiW 12 O 40 ]¢8H 2 O 32 was carried out. 52 This PIC possesses stable one-dimensional channels, which can accommodate various guests such as water, alcohols, and halocarbons.…”
