Taking comfort in decisions: Implications in a pandemic

Abstract: A pandemic affects both individuals and groups in various ways, requiring that consequential decisions be satisfactory to multiple constituencies. The ultimate objective is to foster a balanced decision-making environment where, while each constituency might not obtain its optimal outcome, the outcomes are aligned and, in some measure, good enough overall.
