Abstract:RationaleThe electrostatic linear ion trap (ELIT) can be operated as a multi‐reflection time‐of‐flight (MR‐TOF) or Fourier transform (FT) mass analyzer. It has been shown to be capable of performing high‐resolution mass analysis and high‐resolution ion isolations.
