Target tumor therapy in human gastric cancer cells through the combination of docetaxel-loaded cationic lipid microbubbles and ultrasound-triggered microbubble destruction

Abstract: It is well accepted that ultrasound-induced microbubble (USMB) cavitation is a promising method for drug delivery. Ultrasound-targeted destruction of cytotoxic drug-loaded lipid microbubbles (LMs) is used to promote the treatment of cancer. This study aimed to investigate the antitumor effects from combination of docetaxel-loaded cationic lipid microbubbles (DLLM + ) and ultrasound (US)-triggered microbubble destruction (UTMD) on gastric cancer (GC). Here, the functional dose of DOC was identi ed as 1×10 − 9 m… Show more

“…Helicobacter pylori ( H. pylori ) is a bacteria that may cause a variety of illnesses, including mucosal lymph tissue, peptic ulcers, and stomach cancer (Chehelgerdi & Doosti, 2020 ; Lai et al, 2023 ). H. pylori is mostly connected with stomach infections, but it has also been linked to other illnesses (Kargar et al, 2010 ).…”

“…The interplay of virulence factors between the host and the infection is most likely one of the risk factors for stomach cancer. The pathogenic components of H. pylori produce persistent inflammation, which results in tissue narcosis, lesions, and, ultimately, stomach cancer in certain cases (Lai et al, 2023 ; Li et al, 2017 ). Infections caused by H. pylori are more commonly associated with many recognized disease-causing variables.…”
