Abstract:Neuroendocrine prostate cancer (NEPC) is an aggressive and therapy-resistant subtype of prostate cancer. Current standard-of-care treatment for NEPC involves chemotherapies, which largely exert their cytotoxic effects by forming DNA crosslinks, disrupting DNA replication and transcription in NEPC cells.
