Therefore, it is the author's belief that possessing the expertise to carry out tear trough rejuvenation is an important skill to acquire in one's medical practice. To achieve ideal results, the aesthetic practitioner must have an innate knowledge of anatomy, as well as assessment and treatment techniques of the area. This article will review the evidence relating to hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and the clinical outcomes for patients who require tear trough treatment.
