“…For the evaluation of SC‐EPON system components, we take into consideration currently commercially available components and their market prices. For the evaluation of the MC‐EPON system, we build the hypothetical network model and calculate the costs of components based on the analysis presented in the work of Chen et al, our previous work, and the work of Verbrugge et al as well as the general recommendation in the report by the OASE Project .
