Technology for fast 3D-scene reconstruction from stereo images

Show more

“…Changes have also taken place in the journal contentnew publication categories have appeared: Earth's Remote Sensing Technology, including development of hyperspectral equipment [6][7][8][9]; photonic-crystal sensors [10][11]; LED technology [12][13]; video signal stream processing and some other new methods of image subject processing [14][15][16][17][18]; new types of laser beams [19][20]; and academic reviews of up-to-date trends have been published [21][22]. In 2016, for the first time in a long period, a full-text English version of the journal of Computer Optics was issued with the articles originally written in English (Volume 40, Issue 5), which had not previously been published elsewhere.…”

“…If a three-dimensional point is projected onto a plane (by ignoring one component of the radius vector), then it can be reconstructed ambiguously (along the line). In other words, the inverse operator of the projection should be replaced by a functional of the following form (2).…”

“…Nowadays, a great number of publications are devoted to reconstruction methods for three-dimensional structures [1][2][3][4][5]. In particular, an important stage in the study of the atomic structure of the matter is the development of mathematical methods for the reconstruction of the spatial structure of the matter on two-dimensional images obtained by electron microscopy [6,7].…”

“…Structural identification of crystal lattices in three-dimensional space is one of the basic problems of X-ray diffraction analysis [1]. The main difficulties are the reconstruction of three-dimensional objects [2,3] and the ambiguity of unit cell choice from which the ambiguity of lattice system identification arises [4,5]. To solve the problem of structural identification in three dimensional space, we proposed two approaches: the first was based on parametric identification methods [6] and the second was based on application of fuzzy neural networks [7].…”
