Abstract:Topological insulators (TIs) with spin-momentum-locked surface states and considerable spin-to-charge conversion (SCC) efficiency are ideal substitutes for the nonmagnetic layer in the traditional ferromagnetic/nonmagnetic (FM/NM) spintronic terahertz (THz) emitters.
