Temperature tunable Bragg transmission multichannel filters made of two quarter-wave stacks separated by defect layers

Abstract: We report on simulated temperature-tunable single-channel/multichannel transmission filters in the infrared region (1300 nanometers -1650 nanometers) using a one-dimensional photonic crystal structure. A single channel can be selected in the photonic bandgap region based on the thickness of the quarter-wave stacks and temperature.
