Aerosol optical depth (AOD) is one of essential atmosphere parameters for climate change assessment as well as for total ecological situation study. This study presents long-term data (2000–2017) on time-space distribution and trends in AOD over various ecological regions of China, received from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) (combined Dark Target and Deep Blue) and Multi-angle Imaging Spectroradiometer (MISR), based on satellite Terra. Ground-based stations Aerosol Robotic Network (AERONET) were used to validate the data obtained. AOD data, obtained from two spectroradiometers, demonstrate the significant positive correlation relationships (r = 0.747), indicating that 55% of all data illustrate relationship among the parameters under study. Comparison of results, obtained with MODIS/MISR Terra and AERONET, demonstrate high relation (r = 0.869 - 0.905), while over 60% of the entire sampling fall within the range of the expected tolerance, established by MODIS and MISR over earth (±0.05 ± 0.15 × AOD AERONET and 0.05 ± 0.2 × AOD AERONET ) with root-mean-square error (RMSE) of 0.097–0.302 and 0.067–0.149, as well as low mean absolute error (MAE) of 0.068–0.18 and 0.067–0.149, respectively. The MODIS search results were overestimated for AERONET stations with an average overestimation ranging from 14 to 17%, while there was an underestimate of the search results using MISR from 8 to 22%.

High concentration of PM 2.5 has seriously affected people's daily lives in recent years. It is necessary to analyze PM 2.5 and the correlations with other pollutants in winter. Data presented in this paper were obtained from monitoring stations from 2016 to 2018. Attention was fixed on PM 2.5 and its monthly and daily variations in winter. Furthermore, the correlations between PM 2.5 and CO, SO 2 , NO 2 , O 3 and PM 10 were studied. The results showed concentrating PM 2.5 was roughly consistent with the monthly and daily trends. It was January>December>February>November>March. The mass concentration ranges of PM 2.5 before and after the adjustment of heating energy structures were 64.5-184.1 μg/m 3 , and 86.4-140.1 μg/m 3 , respectively. The average concentrations of PM 2.5 were 135.5 μg/m 3 , and 109.1 μg/m 3 , decreased by 26.4 μg/m 3. PM 2.5 /PM 10 was changed from 64.6% to 62.6%, reduced by 2%. The linear correlation analysis revealed a strong correlation between PM 2.5 and CO, SO 2 , NO 2 , and PM 10 , but a negative correlation between PM 2.5 and O 3. Two multiple linear regression models on the pollutants were established, respectively. This study helps understand the concentrating distribution of PM 2.5 and other pollutants in winter. It will provide some useful references to control air pollution for some cities, which have a similar type of heating energy structure.

With the increasingly serious air pollution, it is urgent to build a good indoor environment. How to improve performance of filter fiber materials has become the mainstream approach. In this article, the structure and filtration performances of nonwoven filter fibers before and after impregnation with carbon black were tested and analyzed. The results showed that a carbon black coating layer was wrapped on the surfaces of the changed nonwoven fabric filter fibers. The porosity of fibers decreased from 97.81% to 95.35%. The filtration efficiency of PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10 increased by 16.8%, 28.0%, and 11.7%, respectively, at the best filtration velocity of 0.8 m/s. The filtration efficiency of PM2.5 had the most significant improvement. But the resistance increased by 1.18 times at the same time. The matching between filtration efficiency and resistance should be considered in using. This study provides reference value for the synthesis and application of new filter materials.
