Li reach anti-perovskite structure like X3AB has provided a novel and promising potential as a solid electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries because of its flexibility, stability, and lightweight. This chapter summarizes different types of tuneable anti-perovskite structure, their different preparation methods, and ion migration mechanisms with a focus on improving conductivity. Further, the performance of different anti-perovskite electrolyte-based Li-ion batteries has also been critically discussed. Also, the present challenges and perspectives of future development direction have been discussed.
