Test Re-test Reliability of Single and Multijoint Strength Properties in Female Australian Footballers

Abstract: Purpose To examine the test re-test reliability of isometric maximal voluntary contractions (MVC) of hip adduction (ADDISO), hip abduction (ABDISO), and multijoint leg extension (SQUATISO) in sub-elite female Australian footballers. Methods Data were collected from 24 sub-elite female Australian footballers (age 22.6 ± 4.5 years; height 169.4 ± 5.5 cm; body mass 66.6 ± 8.0 kg; 4.5 ± 4.4 years sport-specific training; 2.5 ± 2.0 years unstructured re… Show more

“…Hip strength procedure: The isometric strength of the hip ABD and AD muscles was measured using the ForceFrame Strength Testing System device (VALD Performance Pty Ltd., Brisbane, Australia), based on a previously described protocol [ 27 ]. For the implementation, the participants were asked to lie in a supine position under the ForceFrame system, with the femoral condyle of their knees on the padded load cell (100 Hz) at the 60° angle (short lever, hips also bent at 60°).…”

“…A csípő és a kar izometriás erejét a "ForceFrame®" Strength Testing System (VALD Performance Pty Ltd., Brisbane, Ausztrália) készülékkel mértük egy feszes protokoll alapján (Impellizzeri et al, 2007;Kadlec et al, 2021). A végrehajtáshoz a résztvevőket arra kértük, hogy feküdjenek hanyatt a rendszer alá.…”
