Abstract:This paper focuses on the transmission of vibration response of the seismic simulation shaking table system at Southeast University, and analyzes the effect of this response on the surrounding building. The location of the building is less than 10 m away from the laboratory where the shaking table is located, and during the maximum load test, a student reported that the vibration caused him a sense of discomfort, as well as the shaking of office objects on desktops on high floors, which caused panic.
