The Application of Thermal Data to the Calculation of Sterilizing Times for Canned Fish
Abstract: It is shown experimentally that the equation for heat flow in a finite cylinder [Formula: see text] can be effectively used with lethality data for the controlling organism to calculate sterilization times for fisheries products packed solidly into cylindrical cans.
