Abstract: This paper summarises methods of scheduling construction processes with the use of artificial intelligence methods. Rules used for the calculation are characterised taking into account the implementation of priorities and resource constraints.

“…The effectiveness of this type of organization will largely depend on the extent to which the project manager is able to enter the negotiation process with all the participants. The effectiveness of the focal type of NOS is determined from the ratio: (1) where F0 is the potential effectiveness of NOS, which is determined only by its structural scheme; k1 is a coverage ratio, which determines the correlation between the number of conducted and completed negotiations l and the total number of requests n ,…”

“…Carrying out construction projects in modern conditions is connected with a number of difficulties. Some of them are related to solving problems of resource and time planning [1,2]. During an implementation of a construction project, the attention is focused on a resource organization and monitoring the implementation of tasks, any deviations from the plan and on corrective influence that can be taken.…”

“…These models are usually of a deterministic or random approach. The most common methods of planning construction work (scheduling projects) are, e.g., CPM/PERT network planning (Critical Path Method/Program Evaluation and Review Technique) [37], Line of Balance (LOB) [1], methods based on LOB, such as the LSM (Linear Scheduling Model) or RSM (Repetitive Scheduling Method) [2], and Time Couplings Methods TCM [38].…”

“…Constraint (3) ensures that the processing of jobs is not interrupted. Due to constraint (4), a job is completed on machine a − 1 before it starts processing on machine a (enforcing compliance with the technological process).…”

“…For several decades, scheduling and job scheduling have received constant attention from both researchers and practitioners from across the world. Such a level of interest is justified by the broad applications of scheduling which go from production planning and manufacturing [1,2], construction [3], cloud computing [4,5], transportation [6], education [7], healthcare [8] to CPUs [9], Internet of Things [10] and sensor networks [11]. Moreover, many scheduling problems are NP-hard, increasing the importance of developing faster and more efficient solving methods for scheduling problems with real-life instance sizes.…”
