Abstract:Background
Chronic infection with Clonorchis sinensis (C. sinensis) has been associated with the development of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC); however, the relationship between C. sinensis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains uncertain.
