The Association Between Statutory Penalties and Domestic Elder Abuse Investigations

Abstract: Adult Protective Services statutes designate penalties for those who inflict abuse on elders. These penalties are either civil or criminal, with criminal penalties delineated as misdemeanors or felonies.
