The BCS Appathon Challenge at Greenwich

Abstract: The BCS Appathon set out to engage during one hour as many people as possible in the UK in programming an app for their mobile phones. It took place on the 9th June 2015, between 10.30 and 11.30, at a number of UK venues, one of which was the University of Greenwich.Many people now rely on their mobile phones and, daily, use a variety of apps on them, but few have any knowledge of how an app has been developed.
