Abstract:The rise of Jair Bolsonaro to power in 2018 in Brazil was considered a disruptive event characterized by the insurgence of far-right politics and their use of digital platforms to spread disinformation. This election was also marked by an unusual disparity in voting intentions between men and women for Bolsonaro, leading to the rise of the feminist movement named #EleNão (#NotHim).
