“…The tendency of organizing library consortiums (Mallery, Brar, 2013;Matheson, 2013;Robinson, 2014), digital repositories (Kargon, 2019), collaborative networking (Ding et al, 2020;Fresnido, Yap, 2013) and sharing resources (Chisita, Chinyemba, 2016) is seen all over the world and on different themes. This article will discuss briefly various library projects of the Indian agricultural libraries that have led to their digital transformation and to empowering agricultural and allied sciences research in digital environment by providing access to e-resources to facilitate and support research and scholarly communication through various platforms, like CeRA which is reviewed in detail -as a consortium approach providing access to latest research information to all state agricultural universities and institutes in National Agricultural Research and Education System (NARES); Krishikosh -open access digital repository; IDEAL; AgriCat union catalogue etc.…”
