Abstract: Gamma irradiation treatments have commonly been applied to induce variation in plant genetic improvement programs. The improvement of nyawai (Ficus variegata Blume) is urgently needed mainly to break the seed dormancy, increase seedling growth, and induce variation for selecting desired traits.
