The complete mitochondrial genome sequence of Halichoeres nigrescens (Labriformes: Labridae)

Abstract: The complete mitochondrial genome of marine fish Halichoeres nigrescens was sequenced by the high-throughput sequencing method. The genome is 17,252 bp in length, consisting of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, two rRNA genes and one large non-coding region.
