The computer in technical education

Abstract: In this country at the present time about 1 800 computers have been installed and it is estimated that a total of 5 200 will be in operation by 1974. By this latter year it will be necessary to train about 100 000 personnel (New Scientist Vol 26, p 706), maintenance staff, operating staff, programmers and systems analysts.
