Cervical cancer is the leading cause of death in the world, with 311,365 cervical cancer deaths. recorded globally in 2018. Cervical cancer is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). This viral infection is often found in sexually active women who have multiple partners. Therefore, cervical cancer can be prevented by conducting early examination through Visual Acetate Inspection (IVA). The purpose of the literature review is to determine whether there is a relationship between theory of planned behavior and participation in IVA examinations in women of fertile age. The method uses Literature reviews from the Pubmed, Microsoft Academic, BASE and Google Scholar databases, published in 2015 to 2020, and manually selects and analyzes relevant articles. The results of the literature review show that of the 20 journals found and in accordance with the research questions, namely, 1 journal that discusses the Intention Relationship of the IVA test, 7 journals that discuss the Relationship of the IVA Test Behavior, 9 journals that discuss the Attitude Relationship of the IVA test, 3 journals that discuss the Relationship of Subjective Norms for the IVA test and from the 20 journals that were found active IVA examination, 4 journals and 16 journals that were not active performed the IVA examination. From the results of the analysis of the journal, it was found that there was a lack of knowledge and information about IVA tests so that women of childbearing age did not actively carry out IVA examinations, the importance of counseling and health education regarding early detection of cervical cancer, especially IVA tests, not only for women of childbearing age, but also for their husbands, so that they understand the importance of early detection of cervical cancer and can increase the intention, behavior, attitude and subjective norms towards the activity of the IVA test.

AIM: This study aims to explore and analyze the effect of empowering women of childbearing age through the participatory action research method on cervical cancer prevention. SETTINGS AND DESIGN: This was qualitative and quantitative approaches. METHODS: A participatory action research approach to empower women of childbearing age and a quantitative pre-test and post-test without control approach was used to assess the changes that occur. Statistical analysis used: Paired t-test, to find out the mean difference before and after empowerment. Empowerment affects social changes in women of childbearing age in the prevention of cervical cancer. The Perwiritan and Moria groups not only carry out religious activities but also socialization and cervical cancer prevention campaigns. RESULTS: The results showed that empowerment had an effect on increasing the average score of knowledge, attitudes, and actions of women of childbearing age in preventing cervical cancer (p < 0.05). DISCUSSION: Empowerment of women of childbearing age is very effective in creating awareness, knowledge, attitudes, and actions in cervical cancer prevention. Empowerment can also be done for women in other communities. CONCLUSION: There is an increase in understanding of women of childbearing age and the situation in which PAR is carried out because of the emergence of change agents among women of childbearing age who continue to have dialectics.

E-Duva is an application model designed to introduce innovations for delivering information and education about visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) tests. The use of the E-Duva application can facilitate access to information and education for mothers without the need to visit a healthcare facility to learn about the VIA test. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the E-Duva application on the knowledge and attitudes of women of childbearing age (WUS). The study population comprised women of childbearing age (WUS). We employed a quasi-experimental research design with a pretest-posttest design using non-probability purposive sampling. The total sample size in this study was 30 respondents, with 15 women in the control group and 15 women in the intervention group. A questionnaire was used to assess the knowledge of WUS regarding cervical cancer and the VIA test. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Paired T-test. The study results indicate a significant increase in knowledge in both the experimental group (p = 0.000; mean SD 90.88±6.9) and the control group (p = 0.000; mean SD 78.40±10.1). Attitudes toward early detection of cervical cancer were significantly related (p = 0.015). This suggests that a more positive attitude towards early detection of cervical cancer among WUS is associated with a greater willingness to undergo cervical cancer screening. The findings of this study support the role of the E-Duva application in enhancing the knowledge and attitudes of women of childbearing age regarding VIA tests and cervical cancer, emphasizing the potential of technology-driven health education in improving women's health outcome.
