Abstract:The aim of this work is to study the use of this technique for extirpation of malignant tumors of the maxillary sinus and application for a variety of facial lesions, craniofacial deformities and trauma sequel. This includes the exposure for adequate tumor resection and the preservation of tissues and they function. This approach was evaluated including the advantages and disadvantages regarding the function, aesthetic outcome and the complications related to the procedure.
