Abstract:Using several new notions of the generalized principal eigenvalue, we exhibit three distinct sufficient conditions for the existence of the principal eigenfunction of a nonlocal dispersal operator and apply the established theory to study the behavior of the solution of the corresponding nonlocal dispersal equations in the literature. Relations between these generalized principal eigenvalues, the dependence of their different parameters, and several properties of nonlocal operators are further explored. Our ap… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
