Abstract:Purpose: To report a mini review on interventions for myopia control in children.
Methods:A systematic review of the literature.Results: Peripheral defocus modifying bifocal contact lenses, orthokeratology and anti-muscarinic eye drop treatment are the most promising of common strategies for slowing the myopia progression with varying results. Additionally, outdoor activity has generally been recommended by eye care practitioners as a preventive simple strategy.
