The Dibutylphosphate + Benzene System

Abstract: Melting curves and densities have been determined for this system, from which activity coefficients, excess Gibbs energies and excess volumes were evaluated. The results are interpreted similar to the acetic acid + benzene system, with dibutylphosphate (HDBP) to undergo strong dimerization. But with HDBP + benzene, it seems necessary to consider the size differences of the species.
