Abstract: Frontal and axial knee motion can affect the accuracy of the knee extension/flexion motion measurement using a wearable goniometer. The purpose of this study was to test the hypothesis that calibrating the goniometer on an individual’s body would reduce errors in knee flexion angle during gait, compared to bench calibration.
