Abstract:The ecological approach studied in this paper is a new level of information studies. It allows for achieving a better understanding of information processes in society as well as more efficient creation of information processing systems. At first, in Section 2, we describe and analyze ecological studies in different areas ranging from biology to technology to sociology to knowledge and information. Then, in Section 3, we present elements of general ecology building methodological and philosophical foundation for information ecology. In Sections 4 and 5, we elaborate a concise definition of information ecology and further develop information ecology as a methodological base for information studies in general based on the concepts and principles of the general theory of information.

Innovation has been always seen as the competitive advantage of industrial companies, if not most of the organizations. Many researches were dedicated to improve the quality of innovation or to fasten its process. However, over the last three decades, knowledge management had gained an academic and practical importance towards strengthening the innovation process. In most of the studies, researchers were focusing on the technological and algorithmic dimensions of the knowledge management, rather than its epistemological dimension. Moreover, only very few studies focusing on the inter-organizational knowledge management, or the knowledge management with collaborative innovative projects. Therefore, there is a need for a comprehensive framework that can deals with a large organizations with multiple industries globally. In this article a new Knowledge Management Framework for collaborative Innovation Project (KMFCIP) is proposed. The KMFCIP will help the aviation industry in particular and large organization in general to collaborate in the production. It will provide a simplified plate form for knowledge sharing that will improve production and reduce the overall delivery time and production cost.

Digital innovation is becoming increasingly important in today's economy. Many digital innovations are developed not within organizations, but in innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystems, where various entrepreneurship related stakeholders collaborate and cooperate. Despite its significance, studies on digital entrepreneurship ecosystems (DEEs) are limited and the concept is largely undertheorized. This study intends to fill that gap by studying how a DEE organizes. This organizing issue is challenging, because stakeholders of a DEE are self-organizing and are not governed by any formal authority. To answer that question, we adopt forms of organizing as a theoretical lens, which provides structure to examine organizing issues. Through an in-depth case study of Zhongguancun, the Silicon Valley of China, we unveil eight processes around the themes of division of labor and integration of efforts. We further show that the forms of organizing feature a balance of centralized design and de-centralized emergence. This balanced view extends the forms of organizing literature, which takes an either/or perspective. Ecosystem architects and policy makers who intend to build entrepreneurship ecosystems to promote local economies can derive practical implications from our findings.
