The Effect of Component Thickness on the Flattening of Surface Asperities

Abstract: Graphical abstract AbstractAn experimental investigation of a deformable flat rough surface being in contact with a hard smooth ball indenter was presented to evaluate the effect of thickness on the flattening of surface asperities.
