Abstract:Five adult baladi goats were used to evaluate the effect of different doses of magnesium sulphate (MgSo 4 ) that were injected epidurally in combination with lidocaine Hcl 2% on the duration and area of analgesia as well as side effects. Animals were treated as follow: treatment I was injected with lidocaine Hcl 2% (1 ml/7 kg).
