The effect of rutin on pulmonary contusion induced by blunt trauma in rats: Biochemical and histopathological evaluation

Abstract: Background: This study aims to investigate the possible protective effects of rutin, also called vitamin P1, against pulmonary contusion induced by blunt chest trauma in a rat model. Methods: Thirty male albino Wistar rats were separated into three equal groups as healthy group, trauma group, and trauma+rutin group.
