The effect of sintering time on the tribological properties of automotive brake pads

Abstract: In this study, the effect of sintering temperature on the physical, chemical and tribological effects of sintered automotive friction materials was investigated. Using the powder metallurgy method, 3 different samples were produced with the codes A1, A6 and A11. Mixing, pressing and sintering processes were applied respectively as production steps.
