Abstract:Objective
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the screening approach to the diagnosis of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) was subject to emergency simplifications. We aimed at assessing the effectiveness of two of these temporary pandemic protocols—namely the Australian and UK, and to examine the insights they gave into the effectiveness of the more standard WHO-outlined GDM diagnosis protocol.
