The effects of precursor concentration and morphology on photoluminescence behavior of Tb2O3 phosphors

Abstract: Terbium oxide (Tb 2 O 3 ) phosphors were prepared the using sol-precipitation method with the use of different precursor concentrations. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns showed C-type body-centered cubic phase, space group Ia-3, and the crystallite size values were found in the range of 19.45-32.34 nm depending on the solution composition and calcination temperature.
