The Endurance Time to Loss of Finger Dexterity With Protective Gloves: Effects of Glove Type, Air Temperature, and Wind Speed

Abstract: The endurance times under air temperatures of -20 ℃, -10 ℃, 0 ℃, and 10 ℃ and wind speeds of 0.05 m/s and 2.0 m/s with or without glove were predicted. It can be found from Figure 2 that the endurance time increases exponentially with the air temperature.
