Abstract:This article is devoted to investigating the evolution of the probability density function for power system excited by fractional stochastic noise. First, the single-machine-infinite-bus (SMIB) power system model excited by fractional Gaussian noise (FGN) is established. Second, we derive the Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov (FPK) equation for the proposed model and solve the FPK equation using the finite difference method. Finally, the numerical results verify that the addition of FGN would influence dynamical stabil… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
