The " -Exchange" Model for the Reaction   + N -> N* +  

Abstract: The reaction n+N~N*+(J) is analysed in terms of the "p-exchange" model, which is shown to be quite successful in other reactions. Contributions from the "time-component", "p-meson" as well as recoil effect of nucleon are included in this paper. It is shown that the exchange of heavier systems other than the physical p-meson but with the same quantum numbers may be quite important to reproduce a forward peak of the produced (J).
