Abstract:The reaction n+N~N*+(J) is analysed in terms of the "p-exchange" model, which is shown to be quite successful in other reactions. Contributions from the "time-component", "p-meson" as well as recoil effect of nucleon are included in this paper. It is shown that the exchange of heavier systems other than the physical p-meson but with the same quantum numbers may be quite important to reproduce a forward peak of the produced (J). The magnitude of the 3n-(J) interaction is estimated roughly also. at D H Hill Libr… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
